Details announced for the fifth annual McLaren Adaptive Golf Clinic Monday, August 24 at The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren

INSPIRING EVENT WILL FEATURE MORE THAN 40 ADAPTIVE GOLFERS AND A COMPLEMENT OF NATIONALLY RENOWNED ADAPTIVE GOLF COACHES

GRAND BLANC, Mich. – The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren announced today the details surrounding the tournament’s fifth annual McLaren Adaptive Golf Clinic on Monday, August 24 at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club. The inspiring event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on the driving range, followed by lunch in the Miller Lite Beer Garden on Hole No. 17 and a new Coaches Challenge at 1pm also located on the tournament’s iconic par 3.

Together with McLaren Health Care and the McLaren Flint Foundation, the tournament has once again teamed up with the U.S. Adaptive Golf Alliance (USAGA) to put on a clinic featuring trained adaptive golf coaches providing instruction to a group of more than 40 adaptive golfers using a wide array of adaptive golf equipment. Attendees will range in age from 5 years old to 75 and are recruited from McLaren Health Care’s patient base as well as through USAGA, organizations such as Rehab Without Walls, and word-of-mouth. The Clinic features an atmosphere of camaraderie and support in underscoring this growing initiative in adaptive sports. 

Adaptive golf is a rising movement in the sport that continues to grow the game and provide people with physical disabilities the tools and training to enjoy the game.

The coaches for this year’s Adaptive Golf Clinic include:

  • BRIAN BEMIS: Best swing on one leg, plays without a prosthetic, representative of US Para Golf Exhibition team, G1 leg impairment golfer
  • BRYAN BIAGIOLI: President of Michigan Adaptive Golf, represented team USA Cairns Cup in Spain 2026, G2 Leg impairment golfer
  • SCOTT CARPENTER:Local to Michigan, became a USAGA trained adaptive golf coach in 2024, G5 Arm impairment golfer
  • KEVIN HOLLAND: Represented Team USA in 2022 & 2024 Cairns Cup, NAOAGA representative, born with cerebral palsy, 10-time Michigan Special Olympics champion, G8 coordination impairment golfer
  • RYANNE JACKSON: 2023 US Adaptive Open Women’s Champion, 2024 USDGA Woman’s Champion, has played in multiple US Adaptive Opens, G8 Coordination impairment golfer
  • RYAN LUKKARI: Works at Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield, MI, played in multiple US Adaptive Opens, NAOAGA representative, five-time coach at the McLaren Adaptive Golf Clinic
  • RYAN MATTHEWS: Adaptive teaching professional at Correct to Compete, North American One Arm Golf Association Board Director, played in US Adaptive Open, represented The Cairns Cup in Spain 2026

The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren is the week of August 24-30 at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan. 

The Ally Challenge is a Regular Season PGA TOUR Champions event in 2026, which will give way to the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs – a season-ending, three-tournament series that concludes with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Phoenix, Arizona, used to determine the TOUR’s season-long champion. The 2026 PGA TOUR Champions schedule features 28 events, with players competing for more than $70 million in total prize money, the highest in PGA TOUR Champion's 46-season history.

All three rounds of The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren will be broadcast on Golf Channel. 

Since its inception in 2018, The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren has donated nearly $9.7 million to support charity.
