Thank you for your interest in volunteering for The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren. The first playing of this official PGA TOUR Champions event will take place September 10 – 16, 2018 at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club.

Volunteering for The Ally Challenge is a great way to receive a first-hand behind the ropes experience, spend time with friends, co-workers, etc. and most importantly help support the local community.

ADMISSIONS/WILL CALL - Check tickets and credentials at various admission gates. Volunteers will use scanners to scan tickets and credential barcodes upon entrance.  Issue and manage tickets that are left for spectators or professionals.  Provide general information to spectators. Must be 21 years of age or older.

CADDIE SERVICES - Staff caddie headquarters throughout tournament week.  Manage caddie registration process and check-out and return of caddie bibs, towels, yardage books.  Also maintain a list of local caddies available to work.  Must be 21 years of age or older.

COURTESY CARS & TRANSPORTATION - Receive, inventory and control issuance of courtesy cars for players and family members, officials and designated guests. Drive shuttle vehicles between airports, hotels and course for players and family members, officials and designated guests. You will not be driving your own vehicle while shuttling players, guests or VIPs. You must have a valid driver's license. Must be 25 years of age or older.

GOLF CARTS & ADA CART SHUTTLE - Control inventory, distribution and maintenance of golf carts. The committee utilizes a predetermined list of those who are authorized to receive a golf cart.  Provide assistance to spectators whose physical limitations prevent them from accessing the golf course through shuttle golf cart rides. Six passenger carts are used for this committee, volunteer will need to be comfortable driving in crowds and turning around in limited space. A training session will be offered so volunteers can learn routes. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

HOSPITALITY CREDENTIALS - Ensure only those with proper credentials are admitted into the clubhouse an on-course hospitality venues and act as concierge for VIP guests. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

MARSHALS - Maintain walkways throughout the golf course, provide gallery control and assist with player evacuation from the golf course should the tournament have a weather delay. Must be 18 years of age or older.

ON-COURSE SERVICES - Stock and deliver on-course refreshments and ice to tee boxes, distribute mail, packages, tee sheets, magazines, and spectator hand books to appropriate locations. Removal of litter/recycling from the golf course and limited surrounding areas. This includes set-up the weekend prior to tournament and final clean-up on Monday following tournament week.  Requiring heavy lifting and manual labor, must consider physical demands of lifting and being active during a shift. Will work in teams throughout the day. Must be 18 years of age or older.  Junior Volunteers ages 14-17 are welcome to serve alongside a parent/guardian.

STANDARD BEARERS - **Register with the code SBV18. Carry a two-sided scoring standard (5lbs.), which is a portable status board for posting players' scores to keep spectators updated on how each player stands with respect to par, both in the round being played and cumulatively. This is a free junior volunteer position. Must be 13 years of age or older.

TELEVISION/ GOLF CHANNEL - Support television broadcast production team with needs related to the events live broadcast coverage. Additional Requirements: Must work Friday through Sunday of Championship week. Must be 18 years of age or older.

UNIFORMS - Inventory and distribute uniform packages to all registered volunteers, approx. 1,000 volunteers. * This committee's shifts always take place one to two weeks before tournament week. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

VOLUNTEER HEADQUARTERS - Operation of the volunteer headquarters facility the week prior and during Championship week. Must be 21 years of age or older.

WALKING SCORERS - Record accurate hole-by-hole information for each player in group and transmit this information to Scoring Central via handheld computers. Golf knowledge is necessary to work this committee.  Must be 18 years of age or older.
