Final Field Details Announced for 2026 The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren

FIELD INCLUDES THE TOP FIVE IN CHARLES SCHWAB CUP STANDINGS

GRAND BLANC, Mich. – Tournament Officials announced today the details regarding the final field for the ninth playing of The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc, Mich. This elite roster of 78 players collectively represents 244 PGA TOUR Champions victories, including 18 senior major championship winners, and five members of the World Golf Hall of Fame – Ernie Els, Padraig Harrinton, Retief Goosen, Bernhard Langer and Vijay Singh. The field also contains the top five players in the Charles Schwab Cup standings, represented by two-time defending champion Stewart Cink (1), and fellow major winners Zach Johnson (2), Harrington (3), Steven Alker (4) and Goosen (5), who collectively boast 13 PGA TOUR Champions victories this year, counting four of the season’s five majors.

Four past champions of The Ally Challenge will be competing in this year’s field, Joe Durant (2021), Steve Stricker (2022), Singh (2023), and Cink (2024 and 2025). Winners of the Buick Open will also be well represented this year in Grand Blanc. Six members of that esteemed fraternity will be competing at Warwick Hills, including Singh (1997, 2004, 2005), Woody Austin (1995), Billy Mayfair (1998), Rocco Mediate (2000), Tom Pernice, Jr. (1999), and Scott Verplank (1988).

The Ally Challenge is open to spectators from Thursday (August 27) to Sunday (August 30) and ticket prices start at $15. Youth 17 and under receive free grounds access with a ticketed adult. The Ally Challenge is a Regular Season PGA TOUR Champions event in 2026, which will give way to the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs – a season-ending, three-tournament series that concludes with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Phoenix, Arizona, used to determine the TOUR’s season-long champion. The 2026 PGA TOUR Champions schedule features 28 events, with players competing for more than $70 million in total prize money, the highest in PGA TOUR Champions’ 46-season history.

All three rounds of The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren will be broadcast on Golf Channel.
