GRAND BLANC, Mich. – Tournament officials announced today that The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren has accepted the commitment of major champion Stewart Cink to defend his title the week of August 18-24 at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Mich.
Joining Cink in this year’s field, for the eighth edition of the official PGA TOUR Champions stop, are fellow major winners Vijay Singh, the 2023 champion of The Ally Challenge, and Darren Clarke.

The Ally Challenge is open to spectators from Thursday (August 21) to Sunday (August 24) and ticket prices start at $15. Children 17 and under receive free grounds access with a ticketed adult. Cink, 52, recorded his first PGA TOUR Champions title at last year’s The Ally Challenge in his tournament debut. Cink became eligible for the senior circuit on his birthday in May 2023, and the same week finished solo third at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship in his first event on Tour. He has since recorded 21 top-10 finishes over 27 PGA TOUR Champions starts, nine coming this season with his second win counted among them at the Insperity Invitational. Cink’s impressive 2025 resume also includes two runner-up efforts at the Hoag Classic and last week’s U.S. Senior Open Championship. The Alabama native has won eight times on the PGA TOUR during his 30-year professional career, including The Open Championship in 2009. In 2017 Cink received the Payne Stewart Award for his high moral character, charitable mindset, and upstanding sportsmanship.
Singh, 62, won his fifth PGA TOUR Champions event at the 2023 The Ally Challenge, his first win since the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship in 2018. With the victory he joined Jim Furyk as the only players to win at Warwick Hills on the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions. The Fiji native has recorded 34 PGA TOUR victories during his more than 40 years as a professional, including the 2000 Masters and PGA Championship in 1998 and 2004. Singh will make his sixth start at The Ally Challenge next month where he owns a scoring average of 69.6 and tournament earnings of $432,320.
Clarke, 56, has collected five PGA TOUR Champions wins, including the ISPS HANDA Senior Open in 2022 and his most recent title at the 2025 American Family Insurance Championship. Clarke, a member of five Ryder Cup teams himself, served as European Captain in 2016. The Northern Irishman has 33 top-10 finishes in his 141 PGA TOUR Champions starts and is currently ranked No. 9 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings on strength of 11 top-25 finishes over 13 events played, including three inside the top-10. Clarke will make his sixth start at this year’s The Ally Challenge where he has three straight top-10 finishes (2021, 2023 and 2024). He finished a career-tournament best fourth place last year after rounds of 71-68-67. His The Ally Challenge earnings total $274,250 and he holds a scoring average of 69.60. During his time on the PGA TOUR, Clarke collected three wins, most notably the 2011 Open.
In 2025, The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren will not only feature world-class competition, but fans will also be treated to a full slate of events and activities taking place at the tournament through Sunday’s final round.
The tournament’s special events begin on Monday, August 18, with the fourth annual McLaren Adaptive Golf Clinic in cooperation with the U.S. Adaptive Golf Alliance (USAGA). The three-hour clinic will take place at Warwick Hills and feature certified adaptive golf coaches providing instruction to a group of adaptive golfers using a wide array of adaptive golf equipment and techniques. Attendees have ranged in age from 10 to 80 and are recruited from McLaren Health Care’s patient base as well as through USAGA, organizations such as the Disability Network, and word-of-mouth. The Clinic features an atmosphere of camaraderie and support in underscoring this growing movement in adaptive sports. For the third consecutive year on Monday at Warwick Hills, the tournament will welcome the PGA Jr. League Championship to The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren. This group of youth players form seven teams across Genesee County and have played competitively all summer. The event will serve as the league’s season-ending Championship round, offering a special opportunity to play a tournament-ready PGA TOUR Champions course. The PGA Jr. League Championship is sponsored by The Genesee Group, Inc.
The Women of Influence Luncheon returns to tournament week this year and will once again celebrate the power and accomplishments of local, regional and national female leaders on Thursday, August 21 at 12 p.m. in the Miller Lite Beer Garden on Hole No. 17 at Warwick Hills. Also on Thursday, Family Fun Night presented by Charles Stewart Mott Foundation takes place from 5 – 7 p.m. on Hole No. 17 and in the tournament’s Fan Zone. Admission and parking are free for this fun-for-the-whole-family event. Parking is located at Grand Blanc High School with complimentary shuttle service provided. Family Fun Night includes free pizza and drinks—courtesy of Cottage Inn—for youths 18 years and under, a DJ dance party, golf stations run by First Tee – Eastern Michigan, a PGA TOUR Champions player appearance, the McLaren Gong Chip Challenge, plus Ally Footgolf.
The tournament welcomes back two events to its Friday schedule, both for a fourth straight year, beginning with the Chamber Happy Hour from 4 – 6 p.m. on Hole No. 18. This special function brings the community together at The Ally Challenge through five of the regions Chamber of Commerce organizations. Guests from the Flint & Genesee Chamber, Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce, Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce, Clarkston Chamber of Commerce, and the Fenton & Linden Regional Chamber of Commerce will gather and network in this unique and inspiring setting. The Concert @17 presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort featuring the original street band, multi-platinum selling WAR with Top 40 hits including timeless classics “Why Can’t We Be Friends,” “Low Rider,” “Spill The Wine,” “The World Is A Ghetto,” “The Cisco Kid,” and many more will also be held Friday evening, August 22, and take place following the first round of tournament competition at the famed 17th hole at Warwick Hills.
Returning to the tournament’s first day of competition, The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren is proud to bring back Folds of Honor Friday. All are encouraged to wear red, white and blue on Friday, enjoy an enhanced Opening Ceremony with a performance of the National Anthem, and display official Folds of Honor ribbon pins that will be distributed throughout the inspirational day. The Folds of Honor kick off breakfast event will also return to Friday and be hosted in the Warwick Hills clubhouse ballroom. Guests will enjoy breakfast while hearing a special powerful message from a keynote speaker.

Folds of Honor Friday is a perfect complement to the tournament’s military initiatives, including complimentary admission to members of the United States Armed Forces (active duty, National Guard, Reserve, and retirees) and veterans courtesy of Dow. U.S. Armed Forces and veteran admission to the tournament includes access to the Dow VET Den located on the 18th green at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club Thursday – Sunday. The fun continues Saturday evening, August 23, with the tournament’s eighth annual Ally Community Concert, headlined by country music superstar, Diamond-selling, award-winning singer-songwriter Sam Hunt, with multi-platinum certified country music star Dustin Lynch. This special event will take place on the driving range at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club.

The Ally Challenge is a Regular Season PGA TOUR Champions event in 2025, which will give way to the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs – a season-ending, three-tournament series used to determine the TOUR’s season-long champion. The 2025 PGA TOUR Champions schedule features 28 events and will conclude with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Phoenix, Arizona. The 2025 Season will have players competing for more than $69 million in total prize money, the highest in PGA TOUR Champions’ 45-season history.
