Introducing Folds of Honor Friday, an inspiring new experience for fans, players, sponsors and volunteers to engage at PGA TOUR events through a shared connection and appreciation of our U.S. service members and first responders who guard the freedoms of those domestic and abroad. It’s an opportunity to come together as one with a greater purpose.

This year, The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren will celebrate Folds of Honor Friday with the following program enhancements on Friday, August 23, 2024: Breakfast Event with Keynote Speaker, Enhanced Opening Ceremony, National Anthem, Honorary Opening Tee Shot, 17th Hole Birdie Donations, and Special Recognitions before the Concert @17 presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort and featuring Smash Mouth.

As a result of The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren’s inclusion in Folds of Honor Friday, 13 individuals in southeastern Michigan will receive academic scholarships on behalf of the tournament.


Wear Red, White & Blue for Folds of Honor Friday!

The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren fans are encouraged to wear their red, white and blue on Friday, August 23rd as an outward display of unity and an inward commitment to meeting sacrifice with hope for the families of America's fallen or disabled military and first responders.


Ribbons

Folds of Honor Friday at the Ally Challenge presented by McLaren will also include official Folds of Honor ribbon pins that will be proudly distributed and displayed throughout the day.


Folds of Honor Friday Breakfast Event

A special Folds of Honor kick-off breakfast event will be hosted on Hole No. 18 featuring Lt Col Dan Rooney, Founder and CEO of Folds of Honor. Guests will enjoy breakfast while hearing Lt Col Rooney’s powerful message.
